PROJECT TYPE: Van Houtte Coffee Rebrand • Packaging Design
ROLE: Designer/Illustrator
TOOLS USED: Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop

Description:
For this piece, I had to rebrand a packaging that consisted coffee, tea and wine. So I decided to go with a coffee packaging design. To start off by picking a coffee brand, I decided to go with “Van Houtte” coffee brand because it is primarily a vector based graphic usage and logo. Our task was to remodel and redesign a packaging label that will suit the mood and feel of the Van Houtte Coffee brand if it was turned with an alternative coffee packaging. To increase sales and attention, high vector based design and creation would be a high priority to make the brand stand out towards customers.
The project consisted of time and effort which allowed students to gain the opportunity to learn and discover the aspects of packaging design. Students gained new lessons to explore in-depth of what it is to create their own rebrand designs and implementing that into mockups.
The purpose for this creation is to involve and incorporate the main ideas of what the existing brand was and somehow transport it into a different vector design creation of my own and make it more consistent regarding vector based style designs. Since the older version of the packaging designs had a vector based logo, I thought it would be best to keep it the same style as it is and remove any photograph pngs as well as assets and designed everything with vector illustrations instead.
To increase sales and attention, high vector based design and creation would be a high priority to make the brand stand out towards customers.
